Poor Servicing

Sai Point Honda service center really sucks a lot.  I gave my bike for the 4th servicing at Sai Point Honda service center thane west.  It took 1 1/2 hrs for them to make a job sheet of my bike as only 1 guy was there to note down the problems of the bike.

From the 1st servicing i have told them that trip meter and the indicator switch of my bike are having problem. The trip meter was showing me difference of 80-90km after riding 400+ km  and indicator switch  was hard to operate.  After first servicing they said we have checked them and now everything is fine. But then again a when i check the trip meter i found the same error, i was getting a huge difference in the reading and again my indicator switch was hard to operate.

Then came the 2nd servicing and 3rd servicing i told them the same issues again and again i got the same answer that we have worked on it and u just check if its working fine.

So  when i gave my bike for 4th servicing along with some other problems i again told them about the same two problems but this time the indicator switch was broken and when i told the supervisor that i have asked them to work on the indicator switch on first 3 servicing he calmly told me that sir electical parts dont come under gaureente. My question was simple “what u did when i gave 3 complains ?” and now he had no answer. He Just said sir the cost of new switch is 400 rs.

In the afternoon the supervisor called me and said sir there are plenty of things need to be clean and also tail light need to be change as its not working. I was shocked when he said that i asked him when i gave the bike it was working and now u say it need to be change. He just said sir 20 rs for that lamp. I noded for all what he asked me for.

In the evening i went to take the delivery of my bike, after paying the bill he brought my bike from that washing center, at the first look i was so irritated that the bike was not at all cleaned properly. I could see mud on silencer , petrol tank , Indicators. When i asked about the trip meter to the supervisor he said sir we have repaired it you check it , this answer totally irritated me and then i went to the reception  and asked for the manager. Then told the manager about the trip meter problem she called one technician and then the technician wasted my half hrs explaining the solution and i explained him that i m not mad and this is not my first bike and also i m not free that from last 4 months in complaining about an issue. Then he gave me the expected answer that u check it and if the problem persist then u tell us we’ll check it and if we found the problem we’ll replace it. I was like WTF , then i showed him the mud on bike which was not removed while washing. He called a supervisor and asked him to rewashed the bike.

After 20 min the supervisor hand me my bike keys and then i went to the manger to ask her the mail id of Honda where i can register my complain , so then she  called higher level manger and now when i explained him the problem and i said i m unsatisfied with the service he again called the technician and then same discussion took place between us. The manager told to keep the bike under observation for 2 days,  i m still trying to figure out that on what conclusion he will come after keeping my bike under observation.  I thought there was on point wasting my time talking to them, as they never convinced me that they are sitting the help the customer.

Now when i was checking my rewashed bike i saw that they have not even washed it properly. The mud i have shown them before the second wash was still there so i called the manager and showed him that how lazy  Sai Point Honda people are,  so he asked another guy  to rewash the bike. After 3 wash i was satisfied, but i have lost all my interest in this Sai Point Honda service.

After paying 70k you get such a bad service and yes i am not the only one. Many people can be seen in the service center who are frustrated with their service.  They dont handle the bike properly in the service center and if any part is damaged then customer has to pay for their irresponsibility.  This time i am not going to take things lightly atleast we should get what we pay for. And they should take our complains seriously and customers seriously.

You should put up the same thing on http://www.mouthshut.com. It will reach more people.

I’ve also had some frustrating experiences with service centres in Pune.
